“It doesn’t matter how much knowledge you have, what ultimately matters is the way you live that out.”
So, I want to share this growth moment that happened this week, brought to my attention by one of the managers I work with.
We’re in accountability regularly on how we are leading and being in a work environment. He just shared with me that I’d become a little uptight, clearly quite stressed, and a little bit frayed at the edges in terms of being successful and actually being a safe place to be.
And I realized I’d gotten into some bad habits, some bad thought patterns, ways of thinking, that was making me quite stressed.
It’s amazing how it doesn’t matter how much you know, how much knowledge you have, what ultimately matters is the way you live that out. And despite all I know about habits, positive thinking and emotional intelligence, I’d gotten into some bad habits.
And it was a call for me this week back to that amazing statement, “I will make good habits and become their slave”. And that’s the growth moment that I had this week.
