INTRO:

We explored how to cope like a legend with the stress of COVID-19, investigating just what stress is, and presenting both emotional and practical coping strategies.

We touched on the following:

  1. That one in three people will have mental health issues at some stage of their lives and that device addiction doubles any stress
  2. That stress is a transaction between you, your environment and the stressor
  3. That there are two main ways of coping: problem-focused coping and emotion-focused coping

We listed some very practical ways in which we can cope with stress on a day-to-day basis, including ways to change our diets, keep our minds focused in the present, and create memories for ourselves in COVID-19.
