As the dust settles on the infamous “Oscar’s slap” Mygrow Chief Humanising Officer, Theran Knighton-Fitt reflects on what this incident teaches us about the power of emotions, and challenges us to be more human as we travel on “the road to be better.”

“The power of Emotion and the relationship that we all have with it – with our own emotion, and the emotion of others. This is the condition of being human.

When all is said and done, one day you will be what you are becoming. What are you becoming?

I hope we’re all becoming more human… in the best ways.

But the road to better is an emotional road. We can all be more intelligent about how we travel on it.”

Theran Knighton-Fitt, Mygrow Chief Humanising Officer
