INTRO:

We took a close look at a positive psychology technique: three good things.

We touched on the following:

  1. The power of positive emotions
  2. Three good things technique
  3. A chat with Carl Westie

We considered that how we see the world starts building neural pathways in the brain, and that we can learn to reverse engineer any negativity with positive emotion. By practising positivity we create upward spirals of emotions and our ability to cope with crises increases. We introduced Seligman’s life-changing three positive things technique and got Carl Wastie to good naturedly give it a go, and he excelled!
