INTRO:

We examined how health is more than physical.

We touched on the following:

  1. Emotional hygiene through self-compassion
  2. Giving yourself a break through self-compassion
  3. Helpful practices when times are tough

We considered how to take care of ourselves emotionally and psychologically, in the same way as we would physically (emotional first-aid). And how chronic loneliness increases our risk for depression and Alzheimers. We explore giving ourselves an emotional break, and that it is self-compassion that is going to move us to a place of healthy self-worth.
