INTRO:

We examined how to take control of your mind and body and asked the key question: ‘what is the cost of your stress?’.

We touched on the following:

  1. Heart brain connections
  2. The physiology of stress and coping
  3. Using Emotional Intelligence techniques to remain healthy

We re-examined stress, in particular focusing on the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems and how our mental and emotional states impact our bodies. We emphasised how the heart and brain are profoundly connected, and introduced the two step Heart Coherence Technique (heart breathing and positive feeling).
