User story:

My experience with Mygrow has been truly life-changing. 

Before starting the programme, I used to avoid showing any emotion and was overly critical of myself. But now, thanks to Mygrow, I have learned to accept myself for who I am, which has made me less anxious, more calm, and free to be more emotional in a controlled and intelligent way.

One of the biggest changes I’ve noticed is that I now have closer relationships with the store managers that report to me. The personal growth that I’ve experienced through the programme has spilled over into my work life, and I’ve been able to get vulnerable with them, which has encouraged them to do the same in the team. By sharing my struggles with my dyslexic stepson, I’ve been able to engage with my colleagues on a deeper level, which has brought us closer together both personally and professionally. Now they feel more free to share their struggles too, even in a personal capacity.

My leadership style has softened as well. I used to have a “my way or the highway” approach, but now I’m more understanding and able to be assertive in appropriate moments while being compassionate with others. And perhaps most importantly, I’ve developed empathy – which used to be an area of weakness for me. My peers have noticed the change, and even my husband has seen that I’m more patient than I used to be.

Overall, I can’t recommend Mygrow enough. It’s been a truly transformative experience for me, and I’m excited to see where it takes me in the future.
