My experience with Mygrow has been truly transformative. 

 

As a process manager at TFG in charge of distribution to stores, I was used to managing my staff by fixing their issues for them. But after going through the Self-Perception module and developing my Emotional Intelligence, I have learned to ask for their input on solutions and then allow them to take full responsibility. This is obviously a meaningful shift in the way I lead people and it has helped my staff to get things done by themselves.

 

Through Mygrow, I have developed empathy for understanding that my own view of things isn’t the only view, and as a result, we now work together to find solutions. This has led to a change in attitude among my team members. They used to be skeptical of change and reluctant to step out of their shells. Now, they know that I am going to be supportive and open to their ideas, and I think they feel much more fulfilled in their roles.

 

I’ve even been able to apply the same changes at home with my adult children, who have opened up more to me since I started the programme. Now, when I’m angry, my son will even call me out and tell me I’m angry for no reason – something he never would have done before. 

Overall, Mygrow has helped me to become more effective and empathetic, both as a leader at work and as a father and husband at home.
